Whistleblower scheme

It is important to us that you, as an employee of Kragerup Estate, feel confident that you can speak up about critical issues without it having negative consequences for you. Therefore, we have established a whistleblower scheme where it is possible for employees to report critical issues.

What is a whistleblower?

A whistleblower is a person who wants to do the right thing in a really difficult situation. It can be difficult to say something out loud because the person who does can risk being socially punished for it afterwards. That’s why it’s often easier to say nothing.

Why a whistleblower scheme?

First and foremost, the whistleblower scheme is designed to protect the whistleblower and ensure that they are not stigmatized or otherwise excluded from the community. You can choose whether you want to report by name or anonymously.

When to use a whistleblower scheme?

Not all issues are covered by the scheme. Only serious issues can be reported. This could be the following:

  • Criminal offenses and offenses
  • Serious or repeated violations of health and safety rules or essential internal guidelines
  • Severe personal conflicts such as harassment

The whistleblower scheme does not cover minor misconduct or less serious personal conflicts as well as dissatisfaction with general conditions in contracts or employment relationships.
