A new collaboration between producer Kragerup Gods, wholesaler Grøn Fokus and Compass Group Denmark will ensure that Danish organic legumes are now much more likely to be on the menu in Danish canteens.
Kragerup Gods on Zealand, which has been experimenting with producing organic legumes for several years, will now supply Danish chickpeas and lentils to the 320 canteens operated by Compass Group in Denmark.
According to Dagrofa, the agreement to supply legumes to the large canteen operator is a partnership agreement with Compass Group Denmark and Grøn Fokus, a subsidiary of Dagrofa Foodservice, which has been selling organic legumes from Kragerup Gods to the Meny chain for several years.
