Kragerup Gods named Denmark’s most unique venue 2026

Kragerup Gods can now call itself Denmark’s most unique venue. At this year’s DKBS Awards Dinner on April 14, 2026 at DGI Byen in Copenhagen, the historic estate was named winner of MyImage Venue 2026 in the Good to Unique Experiences category among 41 venues from across the country. The award is based on analyses and assessments from professional meeting bookers conducted by MyResearch.

For Kragerup Gods, the recognition is the result of many years of work to create authentic experiences where history, nature and presence go hand in hand.

“This means so much to us. We don’t just want to be a place you visit – we want to be a place you feel and remember. That’s why it’s so special to be recognized for our unique setting and experiences,” says estate owner Regitze Dinesen.

“The award is very much a tribute to our fantastic employees, who every day help create the warm atmosphere and high level of hospitality we are known for. We are proud and very grateful.”

3rd place in the Brand Power High Jumper of the Year category

Kragerup Gods also achieved an impressive 3rd place in the Brand Power High Jumper of the Year category, which measures the percentage increase in the so-called Brand Power Index – an overall measure of a venue’s strength and position in the market based on knowledge, preference and image among Danish meeting bookers.

The locations emphasize the significant development Kragerup Gods has undergone in recent years, where the estate has increasingly positioned itself as a destination for companies and guests seeking experiences beyond the ordinary.

“We can clearly see that more people are looking for places with character, presence and experiences that go beyond the traditional meeting or stay. That’s exactly the direction we’ve been focusing on for several years, so it’s extremely motivating to see that the market is also experiencing this development,” says Regitze Dinesen.

2nd place in the Copper Skillet cooking competition

The evening also brought yet another recognition for Kragerup Gods, as the estate’s chef Marie secured an impressive 2nd place in the prestigious Copper Skillet cooking competition.

In recent years, Kragerup Gods has established itself as one of Denmark’s most unique destinations for meetings, conferences and events with a focus on experiences in nature, gastronomy and historic surroundings. The combination of classic estate atmosphere and modern facilities attracts both companies and private guests from all over the country.

The new title as Denmark’s most unique venue emphasizes the estate’s position as a destination where the experience is central.
