The estate, which provides four-star conference experiences, became Denmark’s firstCO2 neutral estate back in 2012. Today, the estate’s wind turbines supply power to half of Kalundborg Municipality, and a major new Power-to-X project with green hydrogen is just around the corner. The good story about the estate does not come from strangers, because for nine generations the Dinesen family, from which Karen Blixen descends, has run the estate.
