Kragerup Gods is at the forefront of the development and production of hydrogen as an energy source. Once the permits are in place, a huge plant will be built adjacent to the estate’s wind turbines near Nykøbingvej.
Energy experts are in no doubt: hydrogen will be a major player in the energy market. This is also the reason why new projects are seeing the light of day in Denmark, where Kragerup Gods in collaboration with a global player in the energy field, Siemens Gamesa, is well advanced in the first chapter of a new energy story.
– “It’s really exciting, also, and not least, the fact that we are not only part of a new energy process, but also far ahead if the necessary permits fall into place in the coming months,” says estate manager Olav Ditlevsen, Kragerup, about the full-scale plant for PtX (power to x, ed.) and hydrogen production that is planned to be established on an 18,000 square meter area on Nykøbingvej.
