Welcome to my living rooms

Every day I am delighted to welcome guests to our historic main building. The oldest part of the house is the vaulted cellar from 1610, the center house was rebuilt in 1801 and the side wings in 1838 and 1840. The farm buildings on the estate have been restored and are now used as rooms, conference and banquet facilities. The restoration started in 1998 and we are constantly finding new uses for our old buildings.

My mother, Birgitte Dinesen, is the 8th generation and has run Kragerup since 1986, the first 12 years of which were with her father until he retired in 1998. She then started the hotel with six bed-and-breakfast rooms, which today has developed into a 4-star hotel and conference venue with 57 rooms and a large activity park. I am the 9th generation and have been involved from the start as dishwasher, waiter, climbing instructor, event manager in the activity park and marketing manager. In 2021, I took over the title of estate owner and owner-manager of operations with an upright head and a lot of enthusiasm!

I hope you will enjoy our beautiful old house, the food in Restaurant Blixen and being active in nature with your colleagues, friends or family.
