The vault cellar
<p style="font-weight: 400">The historic vaulted cellar dates from 1610 and is located in the basement of Kragerup Gods.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">In the old days, cellars were used as treasure chambers. Silver and gold were stored here to prevent the Swedes from getting their hands on it. History also tells of Swedish prisoners in the cellar. Later, the cellar was used as a pantry where vegetables were stored. The main building was then inverted with a drawbridge to the east to shield the enemies. The floor in the basement has been lowered twice, as the ceiling was only one meter high. </p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Today, the vault cellar is used for breakfast guests.</p>
