<p style="font-weight: 400">There has been a dairy at Kragerup since the 1400s. The first major dairy built on the estate for large-scale sales was built in the 1840s. A few years later, the dairy was expanded and modernized to produce more whey cheese for export. Later, other types of cheese were added, such as Emmental. Kragerup whey cheese was awarded a bronze medal at the Paris Dairy Fair in 1865. </p> <p style="font-weight: 400">Today, the dairy consists of rooms on both the ground floor and the first floor.</p>
