Marie Luise Dinesen

<p style="font-weight: 400">Marie-Luise Dinesen (1936-), née Bohn was born on November 14, 1935 in Aachen. She is the daughter of the clothing manufacturer Carl Jacob Bohn (1909-41) and Bertha Heering (1912-?). Marie-Luise was an instructor in the Danish Disability Sports Federation from 1975-1981 and a “live as before” advisor in the Danish Cancer Society from 1983. </p> <p style="font-weight: 400">She married Erik Sophus Dinesen in Vedbæk Church on September 28, 1956. Erik and Marie-Luise had a total of three children: Birgitte Ida Dinesen, Anne Viveka Dinesen and Charlotte Dinesen. </p> <p style="font-weight: 400">Over the years at Kragerup Gods, Marie-Luise has completely transformed the English-style garden and park with large lawns and a view of the main building and fields, free-standing trees and border planting. She has also planted hawthorn, roses and many types of trees on the estate. </p> <p style="font-weight: 400">After the conversion to a hotel, Marie-Luise lived in the large thatched house next to the main building with her little dog Emma. She would often come trotting up to the main building to say hello to all the staff and guests. </p>
