Maren Christine Staal
Maren Christine Staal (1791-1878) was married to Laurits Christian von Undall and is part of a family line that later became part of the Dinesen family and thus also in the history of Kragerup.
She was born in the late 1700s and lived through a time of great change in Denmark. Together with Laurits Christian von Undall, she had a large brood of children, and the family became part of the network of civil servants and officers that played a significant role in Danish society in the 19th century.
Through her daughter Marie Charlotte Magdalene Undall, Maren Christine Staal was linked to the Mechlenburg family, and in the following generations the connection was continued through the Schøller and Dinesen families. This made her the great-great-great-grandmother of Jens Kraft Dinesen (1922-2003), who belonged to the branch of the Dinesen family that was closely linked to Kragerup.
