Johanne Ulrica Birgitte Christine Gøring
<p style="font-weight: 400">Johanne Ulrica Birgitte Christine Gøring (1774-1829) was born on December 7, 1774 in Næstved. She married into the Dinesen family with Jens Kraft Dinesen (1768-1827) on April 10, 1795. Jens was the first Dinesen of Kragerup Gods. The couple had a total of eight children: Four boys and four girls. Their firstborn son Anders Didrich was only 14 months old. Their third, Severine Dorothea Marie, was only 13 years old. Of the six children who survived childhood, the twins Magnus and Hanne Emilie were among them. </p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Johanne was the daughter of Major Hans Diderich Gøring and Maria Cathrine Jacobsen in the Zealand cavalry regiment. She was one of eight siblings. </p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">When her husband Jens died in 1827, Johanne announced his death as follows:</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400"><em>“That my dearly beloved husband, Justice Jens Kraft Dinesen, after several years of weakness, left this earth on Wednesday the 29th of this month, is hereby announced with deepest regret to absent family and friends. Four children receive him in eternity and six mourn with me the passing of the beloved, righteous father.”</em></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Johanne died on a visit to Slagelse on January 6, 1829. She was buried on January 13, 1829 in Ørslev Church. </p>
