<p style="font-weight: 400">Johan Ulrik Peter Vilhelm Dinesen (1832-1874) was born on February 16, 1832 at Kragerup Gods and was the son of Anders Didrich Dinesen (1798-1840) and Sophie Jacobine de Neergaard (1810-1857).</p> <p style="font-weight: 400">At the age of 19 in 1850, Johan became a cadet and during his time in the infantry he participated in the war of 1864 and was appointed first lieutenant in 1865. That same year, he also bought Søholm in Gentofte. </p> <p style="font-weight: 400">He married his cousin Alvilde Dinesen (1841-1893) in 1863. Together they had five children, including their son Axel Wilhelm Dinesen. </p> <p style="font-weight: 400">Johan died on September 25, 1874 at Kragerup Gods, leaving behind his wife, who later married his brother Jens Kraft Jacob Sophus Dinesen (1830-1910). Johan is buried at Ørslev cemetery. </p>
