What does confirmation mean?
Being confirmed means saying yes to the Christian faith and to God. To be confirmed, you need to be baptized, but you can also be baptized in connection with confirmation. Becoming a confirmand symbolizes the transition between childhood and adolescence – that you have entered the ranks of adulthood.
What is a nonfirmation?
Non-confirmation, also called a civil confirmation, is a newer term used when you choose not to be confirmed in church but want to celebrate with a party. Why the term has emerged is because more and more people are choosing to go this route.
How do you have a good confirmation?
As parents, you want to make a good impression when it comes to your daughter/son’s confirmation/unconfirmation. The estate houses 6 beautiful function rooms, accommodating from 20 up to 255 people! If you’re looking for a relaxed confirmation with nature in focus , experience the rustic forest cabin surrounded by tall trees, the beautiful main building in the background and climbing guests floating by with wind in their hair. The venue can accommodate many guests and can offer a roast suckling pig or delicious barbecue buffet. The venue is especially popular for the unpretentious or casual party. If you want to give the confirmand a little extra, you can combine the day with fun activities in the forest. This could be football golf, archery, mega table football or jumping on the large trampolines in the treetops. It’s guaranteed to be a hit with the fresh young minds.
Our skilled party coordinator has years of experience in planning and hosting parties down to the smallest detail, making sure your party is tailored to your wishes. We also have a creative florist who is always on hand to create beautiful decorations that perfectly match the theme of the confirmation.
What does a confirmation cost?
At Kragerup Manor we have several package solutions ranging from a barbecue in the woods to a grand banquet. Package prices always include room rental and there is always free parking. Guests from far away can stay in our 57 hotel rooms, where the confirmand can feel like a prince/princess for a day in a beautiful deluxe room in the main building!
