Birgitte Dinesen, 8th generation estate owner, will talk about the history of Kragerup, dating back to 1327, spiced with historical events, important personalities, ghosts and her own childhood memories.
She can also tell you about the transformation from a traditional farm to a modern business, which today consists of a hotel with 57 rooms, a venue for parties and conferences, a large activity park with Denmark’s first climbing park, six wind turbines and a large agricultural and forestry farm.
The tour will take you around the main building, out into the park, to the farm buildings and into the forest where you’ll find Kragerup Activity Park. The tour starts in the main building, where coffee and pretzels are served according to the family recipe from 1829.
