True to tradition, we celebrate the end of the hunting season with a fantastic game evening at Kragerup Gods. We’ll be joined by twins Rikke and Trine from Hunt & Hike, who will talk about their dream of becoming hunting guides and the challenges they’ve had to overcome to get there.
Lecture with adventurous twins
After dinner, sit back and enjoy an exciting lecture with Rikke and Trine, who since childhood have followed their father and grandfather when feeding pheasants and shooting bucks. Both hunting and nature run through their veins, and the desire to communicate has been built up through generations.
The twins’ talk is about their time as hunting guides in Canada and daring to take the leap from a safe environment to once again seek the wild life. Rikke and Trine make no secret of the struggle it was to fulfill their dream of following in their father’s footsteps and guiding hunting clients as women in one of the world’s most rugged areas.
“We want to reproduce the experience of being able to turn a bull moose’s attention from hundreds of meters away to grunting between willow trees a stone’s throw away.”
Hear stories about life in the backcountry and how you can go from horse shy to horse whisperer. Humans become small when help is hundreds of kilometers away and bears are just around the corner.
Look forward to a lecture where even the pictures speak for themselves.
