Experience the special Christmas atmosphere as over 100 exhibitors fill the estate with unique handicrafts and exciting specialties. Here you’ll find everything from jewelry, ceramics, paintings, and floral arrangements to hand-knitted items, wicker baskets, and traditional crafts.
Let the aroma of roasted almonds guide you through the food stalls offering craft beer, chestnut liqueur, and other Christmas treats. Be sure to also visit the produce stands featuring fresh vegetables and game from Kragerup Gods’ own forests.
Musical entertainment
The Christmas spirit will be accompanied by the Nuclear Devils Drum Band, which will fill the estate with impressive drum rhythms, while Slagelse Nissegarden will spread classic Christmas tunes throughout the grounds.
Something for every taste
At the food market you will find, among other things, burgers, pizza, sausages, fish & chips, Lebanese vegetarian dishes and drinks.
For those with a sweet tooth, the pancake tent offers freshly made pancakes, warm apple fritters, and mulled wine, while coffee and kringle—made according to a family recipe from 1829—are served in the estate’s historic parlors.
Christmas Platter at Restaurant Blixen
Enjoy a cozy lunch at Restaurant Blixen with a Christmas platter consisting of two Christmas-inspired open-faced sandwiches of the chef’s choice, or a children’s platter with fish fillet and French fries.
They are served at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. You’ll have the table for 45 minutes, and we recommend making a reservation in advance.
Christmas Activities for Kids
In the family area at Kragerup Activity Park, kids can meet the mascot Eddie Eigil, make pancakes or roast marshmallows over a campfire, and decorate their own Christmas ornament. Everyone can also try Go Bounce for free during the Christmas market.
