Restaurant Blixen

Enjoy a wonderful dinner or lunch in cosy Restaurant Blixen, where we offer Danish food with French traditions. Restaurant Blixen is located in the central wing of the main building, where you can have a romantic dinner in quiet and historic surroundings. In summer, you can admire the view of the park from the terrace during dinner.

We are inspired by getting a lot of flavor out of individual ingredients, which is why freshness, high quality and a short distance from farm to table are the signature of the restaurant. We emphasize using in season ingredients, preferably from local producers and from the estate's own garden, which offers herbs, edible flowers as well as fruit and berries.

Meet the Dinesen family

Deeply rooted in history lies Kragerup Gods – a gem in scenic Denmark. The estate's roots stretch back to the 14th century, and for many generations has been run as traditional agriculture with, among other things, cattle herding, dairying and horticulture. In 1998, the 8th generation and Chambermaid Birgitte Dinesen started a fantastic transformation into the 4-star hotel and conference venue, which can be visited in West Zealand today.

Kragerup Gods now belongs to 9th generation estate owner Regitze Sophie Dinesen, who herself grew up at Kragerup Gods. She runs the estate with pride after her mother and has a vision to unite a modern hotel experience with the whir of history.
