Restaurant Blixen

Enjoy a wonderful dinner or lunch at the cozy Restaurant Blixen, where we serve Danish cuisine with French influences. Restaurant Blixen is located in the central wing of the main building, where you can enjoy a romantic dinner in peaceful, historic surroundings. In the summer, you can enjoy the view of the park from the terrace while dining.

We are inspired by bringing out the full flavor of individual ingredients, which is why freshness, high quality, and a short journey from farm to table are the hallmarks of our restaurant. We place great importance on using seasonal ingredients, preferably from local producers and from the estate’s own garden, which offers herbs, edible flowers, and fruits and berries.

Meet the Dinesen Family

Deeply rooted in history lies Kragerup Gods—a gem in scenic Denmark. The estate’s roots date back to the 14th century, and for many generations it has been run as a traditional farm, including cattle herding, dairy farming, and horticulture. In 1998, the eighth generation and Lady-in-Waiting Birgitte Dinesen began a remarkable transformation into the 4-star hotel and conference venue that can be visited in West Zealand today.

Kragerup Gods is now owned by Regitze Sophie Dinesen, the ninth-generation owner, who grew up at Kragerup herself. She proudly carries on the estate’s legacy, following in her mother’s footsteps and guided by a vision of combining a modern hotel experience with the spirit of history.
